Turner Classic Movies is featuring "Silent Stars" in November with 38 silent films.
In addition to "Silent Sunday Nights," TCM will highlight the silent stars each Monday
with a different theme. Monday, November 3, great women of silent films will be
featured. On November 10, the male silent stars will be spotlighted. For Monday,
November 17, the mix will be child stars, sisters and the only two performers who won
Academy Awards for their work in silent films (Janet Gaynor and Emil Jannings).
Finally, Monday, November 24, will showcase the comedians with two features, five
shorts, two documentaries and one compilation film.
